Diamond Hill Shiraz Merlot has a nice dark red color with violet reflections. Great scent of ripe fruit. The flavor is powerful with a spicy filling and ripe tannins from the Shiraz grape as well as softness and warmth from the Merlot grape.The wine is a good companion to red meat, spicy dishes, lamb, calf and cheese.
